Stars and lines

Constellation linesCelestial gridCompass directionsInclude the Moon when visible

The Moon is only drawn when it was above the horizon at your place and time, just as in the real sky. It is below the horizon for part of every night, and near New Moon it is up in the daytime and out of sight. If it is missing, try a different time that night, or choose Moon phase above for a design that features the Moon on any date.
